New shoes ... but for whom?

Sigh. We were actually on the search for a pair of shoes for my son who has outgrown his spring/summer shoes. Then I found these for a fab price in the kids department of the Puma store:

I have a suspicion that they are boys sneakers, but details like that don't stop me. I once bought a great fitting short t-shirt (if I ever remember, I'll post some pics) in 3 colors at Benetton, only to find out a couple months later reading the label inside that I bought a shirt ment for boys age 8/9.

Family Sunday

Last sunday we visited the in-laws for lunch. As always when going there, we ate way too much.

They have a small garden and space for my son to use his bike without interference of cars, so I kept the outfit very simple, practical. Monochrome. No accessories. Boooooring. I'll try harder next time, I promise!

The pictures of me were taken by my husband with my Nokia Lumia 1020, no altering has been done.

I find it interesting (and helpful) to look at outfit pictures of myself, because the camera gives me a different truth from my bedroom mirror. There have been combos that looked good in the mirror that I discarded after seeing it in photographs.

Balcony Garden

I love using fresh herbs and one of my goals for 2014 was to have a little herb garden. This weekend I've dedicated some time to planting and arranging this on our balcony.

I know I could buy most of these already grown to a decent size, but I actually enjoy observing the process of sprouting and growing.

The only thing I bought was the Salvia/Salbei/Sage.

Friday's Fashion Find - Dresses

Fashion Month is over, so back to the normal posting schedule.

In the last couple of days the sun has come out and the temperature rose quite a bit here in the North of Italy, so I figured it is about time we start thinking about getting the spring wear out. Starting with lighter dresses.

Out of my league but oh so beautiful:

MFW - Day 5 & 6 - Favorites

Very late with this, sorry. My son has been at home sick.

I've put Day 5 and 6 together since they were only two shows on Monday.

Sewer hair at Marni, opulence and animals at Dolce&Gabbana, 3D graphic patterns at Marco de Vincenzo, many shades of grey at Gorgio Armani. Wonderful elegant clothing at Trussardi and Ferragamo. On Day 5 also Missoni, MSGM, Phillip Plein and on Day 6 DSquared (square2). I think we saw a lot of great collections on the last two days of MFW.
