At the tail end of Paris Fashion Week designer Zuhair Murad presented his collection for Spring Summer 2015, inspired by "gitanes", french for gipsies. The romantic version.
Not all of it very practical as is, I found his designs to be visually stunning. The cuts, the shapes, the materials, the prints, the colors, the lace and crochet all contribute to breathtakingly beautiful compositions that invite you to dream. Of far away places, freedom, lightness, laughter, play and dancing under the open sky. All with an undercurrent of passion. You see, the red. The lace.
I would be lying if I'd say I wouldn't like to have most of it in my wardrobe, even the more "difficult" pieces.
Enjoy the visual feast.
